I did not get this book until a little late in my pregnancy so I didn't utilize it as much as I would have liked. I did use some of the poses. It includes post-partum poses to do with your baby, as well, and has very good detailed instructions for each pose. It also has helpful explanatory sections before each group of poses and a symbol on each page to let you know what trimester (or post-partum) each pose is appropriate for. I had some yoga experience prior to getting this book, but I think it would be good for a novice, too.
