Absolutely fascinating book of correspondence between teenagers in the Sixties who continued throughout over 25 years, maturing, experiencing life, examining values, and just plain living. I loved this memoir, written by BOTH of the correspondents! How often does THAT happen?!

I could not get enough of this wonderful dual-memoir ... a turbulent time, the Sixties has inspired many a memoir, but this one stands heads & shoulders above most. As Planet Weekly said about this book, " Superb...Their chemistry of opposites is electric. It's often difficult to put Ruth & Jeff's narrative histories down for fear of stemming the flood tide of one's own past."
