This is a "manual" for how to use brief communication techniques to effectively communicate and discipline, mostly with your children; however, some of the techniques and advice can be applied to communication with anyone. Easy to read and quick to complete, most people will find some techniques they can quickly and easily apply to their communication efforts. Peppered throughout, are examples of "how tos" for typical situations in three age groups: preschoolers, school-agers, teenagers. I recommend this book to everyone who has children, including adult children, of any age and anyone who wants to be more effective at communicating with others.
