My daughter is a beginning reader and loved this book. At first she was worried because it was more pages than the "step into reading" type books, but she really wanted to read it herself, and she did! The words are pretty basic (some sight words, some phonetics) and she enjoyed the story too!

Who wouldn't love this adorable book about a giant polka dotted animal (of some sort) that desperately wants to be in the Zoo! Follow his adventures as he tries to convince 2 children that he has what it takes to be a Zoo attraction. Will he succeed? Come and find out!
