A very funny novel about a workaholic intern with no private life who is pursued by a former patient, who isn't quite all he seems.
Quirky characters, fascinating characters, disillusionment, romance, Lipman puts it all in all of her novels. I've loved every one I've read.

A fun comic novel. Alice is a very unique character, a caricature of the goody two-shoes, wallflower, nerd. I didn't like her but I appreciated what Lipman was trying to do with her.
