A good inspirational read. Something we can all use these days, right? True or not, hokey or not, it was fun to read; and causes some real thinking about what is "real".

I guess I am at a different point in my life. While it tells a story of a woman coming into her own sense of self, it's just a bit silly hokey stuff. Call it what it is: fiction/fantasy.
This is a very powerful read. Spiritual and unforgettable.
Joy M. (I really enjoyed this book. The book is about a social worker/accupuncturist that is chosen for a surprise walkabout with an aboriginal tribe. She lives with the tribe for 4 months, and learns about their way of life and world view. In the first few pages the reader watches her loose all her clothes, wallet, jewelry, important papers, cell phone, and sense of security, and her shoes. She follows the tribe into the burning desert of Australia with nothing but an old rag on her body. But she learns so much!
I think the world would be a better place if all Americans read this book and took its message to heart.
Very interesting and captivating book about a woman's experiences with an aborigne tribe in Australia.
Lots to pnder in this powerful book...simple truths with spiritual lessons.
The writing isn't great, but the story is fascinating.
Full of spiritual wisdom, insights and adventure. A MUST read!
