This is a preschooler's "classic." Written by Laura Joffe Numeroff and published originally in 1985, it has charming illustrations by Felicia Bond, and is imaginative in an ideal way for many 3,4, 5 year olds who delight in the kooky little things about everyday life. Perfect for reading aloud. Numeroff followed If You Give A Mouse... with equally popular sequels. This edition is a Weekly Reader hardcover.

Marylynn P. (This is a very cute book. I ordered it for my grandson who is 4. The way the book is written is amusing and he has practically memorized it. This book is one of his very favorites.
Classic. Very cute. Read this over and over and over as a child and my kids now love it.
A favorite for kids of all ages! A humorous story of a mouse who wants a cookie, then a glass of milk, then...it goes on and on! Enjoy!
