A fun way to pass a lazy afternoon. Laurens novel are well written, witty and romantic, with out going over board on the 'bodice ripping'. Her characters are well thought out, with belivable 'voices'. 'The Ideal Bride' is part of a series about a powerful Ton family, and it is a historical romance.

I really liked this book. Good suspenseful plot and interesting relationship between the hero and the heroine. This is another novel in the Cynster series.

This book was difficult for me to get into. I liked Caroline and enjoyed her interaction with foreign diplomats, but the Caroline/Michael dynamic just didn't pull me in.

Not my favorite Cynster novel. I couldn't really get into it. I've really enjoyed most of the other books but this one had a weak plot.
