This really is a train wreak. You can't help reading it even though you can envision that the outcome will be a disaster. This is a great read.

How long should you be allowed to be a grieving widow? Everyone is trying to fix Mary up. But all she wants is to be left alone to solve a 60-year-old murder. Her digging worries someone and she finds her life on the line. Fascinating to watch her peel off the layers of time and history. The excitement builds as she races to finish her investigation. Very interesting page-turner.

I was in a book club and never got the chance to read all the books, including this one.
Excellant!!! Couldn't put it down.
lawyer Mary DiNunzio is on a case deep into the past of emigrates who came to the Philadelphia area.
Excellent read. I couldn't put it down. Read it straight through in a day or so, which says something since it over 500 pages long.
Another of her 'Mary DiNunzio" books. I usually like Scottoline's books but at times this one drug on. But at least when I read more of her books, I will know what they are talking about when they make references to things that happened in this book.
