Goldy Schulz is thrilled to be catering a holiday breakfast feast for the staff of the Aspen Meadow Library. But little does she know that on the menu, alongside the Great Expectations Grapefruit, Chuzzlewit CHeese Pie, and Bleak House Bars, is a large helping of murder.
While setting up at the library, Goldy spots a woman lurking in the stacks who bears a striking resemblance to Sandee Brisbane--the Sandee Brisbane who killed Goldy's ex-husband, the Jerk. But Sandee is supposed to be dead. Or so everyone believes.
Goldy's suspicions mount when the body of Drew Wellington, a former distrct attorney, is found in a corner of the library with a map worth thousands of dollars stashed in his clothing. She's convinced that Sandee is involved.
But the holiday madness is only just beginning for Goldy. Soon she's drawn into the dnagerous, double-crossing world of high-end map dealing. And like the ghost of Christmas past Sandee keeps making an appearance. Could she be out to prove that revenge is sweet?

The latest in the Goldy Bear series. This is another really good book in the series. All the characters are back and of course Goldy is at the wrong place at the wrong time when it comes to discovering the body. I know she has gotten herself into some tough spots in the past, but I really can't remember another book in which she has quite this much trouble! Suspensful all the way, and I did not know "who did it". Great addition to the series!

This is the latest in the Goldy Schulz books, the caterer who manages to find dead bodies. This book was a little dull and a bit confusing about the characters. There are some wonderful recipes included, as usual, and the murderer in this book surprised me - a person who let greed get the better of him/her.

Goldy does it again! Another fast and fun-reading book about adventures with Goldy and her family. If you want a fun, clean and upbeat reading, this book has it all!
Sara C. (After reading 6 of this series, I found this one to be slower to get to the solution and had too many characters to keep track of. I found it hard to keep up with who was who and read it in a couple of days. Goldy does a lot of sleuthing and getting herself into illegal situations and breaks the law stealing cars, and getting into a lot of situations. I think this one was my least favorite but has 10 new recipes at the back and two I may try to bake. I still need to find Julian's famous fudge recipe with the dark cherries or dried cherries from previous book probably Dark Torte.
