I found this book tremendously helpful while pregnant with my twins. It does go into quite a few details about possible complications, but since it also included info about what you can do to reduce your risks (if possible) it was valuable to me.

The weight charts made my OB raise his eyebrows, and my perinatologist flat out told me I shouldn't gain that much weight. But my OB said it wouldn't be too bad, so I did it. I'm still trying to lose the last 10 lbs, but the kids came out whole and healthy at 38 weeks 1 day, so I wouldn't change a thing.

This book is not for the faint of heart--the risks are laid bare and nervous types might find it scary. But I was glad to have the information and could understand what my doctors were looking for in all the scans and tests, what I should keep watch for, and answer the docs questions meaningfully. I recommend it to expectant mothers of multiples.

I bought/read 9 books on multiple pregnancies, and this one was the BEST. If you only get one, this is it! The nutrition guidance I was only partially able to follow, and I still had 7 lbs twins. (each!)
