Third in the Debutante Dropout series and definitely not my favorite. The plot was very slow going, with repetitive details from the previous two novels (how many times do we need to hear about her white Vera Wang that hangs in the closet????) and I've seen golf games with more action than this book had. I hope her future efforts are of a better caliber or this will be a series I drop for sure!

Wealthy Texas widowsneed loving too. A good cozy read with some romance thrown in.
Wealthy Texas widows need loving too...which is why Bebe Kent joined a dating servie for "discriminating" seniors soon after relocating to the swanky Belle Meade retirement community. Unfortunately, Bebe didn't live long enough to meet "Mr. Right". And though doctors declared her death totally natural, extravagant blue-blooed Dallas socialite Cissy Blevins Kendricks believes her old friend's demise was hastened---and she's ready to check herself into Belle Meade incognito to prove it.

As a Texan and former Dallasite, I love the characters and enjoy recognizing landmarks. Cissy reminds me a little of my late mom-in-law, whom I adored. Cissy moves into a retirement home disguised as her complete opposite persona in order to solve the murders of two dear friends. Such fun! Andy sees a new side of her mother.
