If you like mysteries, this is a fast read. I had not had the opportunity to read this author as of yet. If you like humor mixed in with your mystery this is a good one to start with. I laughed till I cried in some spots, and if you read you will discover where that part of the story is. Enjoy, it's worth the time to read for something mysterious and light at the same time.

So funny! Evanovich is always getting laughs but this book really gets you going. Barney (a sassy lady) thinks there's some cheating going on among the NASCAR drivers at the local race track and she sets out to prove it. Then a body turns up and the police are looking at her and her newest fella. A wild chase begins and you won't have it figured out until the last page.

Another fun read from Evanovich. If you like Stephanie Plum and the numbers books, you'll enjoy the books with Barney. While not great literature, there's enough laughs and adventure to entertain you on the beach, on the bus or just in the comfort of your own easy chair.

I am disapointed with this series. I have read the first two, but probably will not read any more.

As a Stephanie Plum fan, I was not quite as taken with the Barnaby series, but this is a good book. Fun, quick read.

Loved this book! It was just as quirky as Stephanie Plum and a laugh out loud read!

Barney, Hooker, and friends are back, tearing up the race track, and tearing up the town! The action takes place in a wild race around Southern Florida and Concord, North Carolina, home of NASCAR. Barney and Hooker "borrow" a NASCAR trailer to save a friend, only to discover that in addition to the two race cars and their friend Gobbles in the back, there's also a naked dead man wrapped in plastic! And that's not all... turns out the cars house their own secrets as well.
Now on the run from a couple of hit men, the head of R&D at Huevo Industries, and the police for questioning on a murder they didn't commit, Barney and Hooker team up with old pals Felicia and Rosa to clear their names, and try to figure out what's going down in downtown!
This was another great Evanovich read which I enjoyed just as much as its predecessor
Metro Girl. It had a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, and you're left wondering just what's happening right up until the very end.
