Book Description:
Pauline has a drug problem ...

Once a nurse, now a medical insurance fraud investigator, Pauline Sokol's going undercover in a local seniors' center, where prescriptions are still being filled for a patient who just happens to be dead. A little behind-the-scenes snooping reveals the hard facts: the recently deceased oldster was up to his jowls in an illegal Viagra ring. Not that Pauline begrudges these elderly gents their newfound virility, but it's unnerving to be in the middle of a group of sex-mad overaged lotharios who suddenly have the wherewithal to do something about it. It's bad enough that she keeps getting distracted by her own fantasies about her handsome co-worker Nick... not to mention her dangerously sexy fellow investigator Jagger. However, there's nothing like a few more suspicious deaths to get a girl's mind back on her work -- especially if the next prescription for murder seems to have Pauline's name on it!

Another great book in the style of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum.
Burnt out nurse Pauline working now as a insurance fraud investigator has gone undercover to help bust a illegal Viagra ring. Distracted by her fantasies about her handsome co-worker Nick...not to mention her dangerously sexy fellow investigator Jagger. However, there's nothing like a few more suspicious deaths to get a girl's mind back on the job at hand.

A bit better than the first, but not by much. I do like the main characters though and the way they interact with one another. Especially Pauline and Jagger! There is enough humor to make this a light read, but there is still something missing. The book never really grabbed me the way a lot of the cozies do. It was an improvement over the first one which was a bit lackluster, but still not as good as it could be.

I liked this light mystery. It is the type of book you can curl up with and read in one sitting.

Not quite as good as Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum; but along the same order and a good mystery to boot.

This book came out last week and it is the second book in the series of the Pauline Sokol mysteries, it was even better than the first if that's possible! I believe the third one in the series comes out in late september! Can't wait!
