Another interesting entry into this historical mystery series. While not my favorite series (that honor goes to the Roger the Chapman mysteries by Kate Sedley), it's a solid read with interesting characters. This one is somewhat better than most in the series, although it could have been shortened and tightened.
Be forewarned, however, that although it's known as the "Knights Templar" mystery series, it has nothing to do with the Templars. The main protagonist had been a Templar but it is barely referred to.
