Book Description:
Lucian Argeneau may be a vampire, but he's also a bit of a grump. Hundreds of years spent hunting rogue immortals will do that to a man. The last thing he expects is to find a reluctant vampire who's having a bit of a tough time adjusting to her new life. Lucian hasn't had to interact with a woman this closely for thousands of years, and he had no intention of starting now. But the best laid plans...

Leigh has been through a lot, but nothing quite prepared her for the situation she finds herself in. Thrust into the world of immortals and forced to absorb an astonishing amount of information, Leigh thinks that her tutor might exhibit a little more patience and a little less attitude. Of course, that doesn't stop her from finding him far too attractive for her own good. But Leigh, Lucian, and their new relationship will be put to the test when a very real threat enters their lives...

I've enjoyed the other books in this series, but I was hesitant to start this one because I wasn't sure how it would be with Lucian as the main male character - since he's a grumpy old bastard in previous books. But I'm glad that I gave it a try. It's definitely not my favorite book in this series, but Lucian surprised me in this book - plus it was fun to see everyone's reaction to his changed behavior.

Very good - as good as the others. If you enjoyed A Bite To Remember and A Quick Bite, you'll like this one.

I got through this book really quickly. I really enjoy a lighter read like this in between the darker vampire stories.

The Argeneau family of "born vampires" are interesting, funny and all together likable. Lynsay Sands has created a nice series...but each stands on its own very well!

A really great read by Lynsay Sands. At last, a love affair he can really sink his teeth into!

This is a good book, and it fits right in with the other Argeneau books.

This book was true to form with an argeneau finding his/her mate and their struggle to come to grips with the reality of their situation while protecting their world. Even though you already know this before opening the book, the book is so well written that you enjoy the journey of the main characters.

I love this series.. I love how she treats the vampire histories and origins! too bad its not all true! lol but really .. all this series is a great read and one of the books that got me interested in vampire romance... yea sometimes you want to go.. oh come on .. they wouldn't really act or do that ( the men and the women) ! but then.. still worth the read. I cant wait for the next one to come out..
the men in the series are sexy, smart and deep down very sensitive.. I love it.. too bad men really are not like this!
I love how she writes... you really can get into the story and fell like your there almost. I like books that are written with good descriptions so that you can see the place they are in and feel like your there watching it all happen. If you like other vampire romance you will fall in love with all of Linsey sands characters and the whole argeanu family and the women( or men) they fall in love with!

Bite Me If You Can is another book in Lynsay Sands' Argeneau Vampires series. It's not necessary to have read the others to understand this one. The family tree at the beginning of the book is a great reference and gives you a clue of who is who in the story. Leigh Gerard is minding her own business walking home late at night from work. She owns a bar names CoCo. She attacked by a vampire who used to be a former emplooyee Donnie and his sire and taken away by him to his lair. The vampire can not copmpletely control Leigh and she manages to escape. She's rescued as most of the other vampires are destroyed, but it soon becomes apparent that she's been made into a vampire and is "turning", a very painful and noisy experience.

Lucien Argeneau is a bossy, grumpy, arrogant vampire who doesn't really care for anyone since his wife and children died hundreds of years ago when Atlantis sunk. He finds himself having to take care of Leigh, much against his will, while she turns. It becomes clear fairly early on that she is his "life mate."

Even though the format for each book is basically the same (Vampire meets human, they fall in love and exist happily ever
after), the settings are modern and language is normal speak, which made reading enjoyable for me.
In the style of Sands previous novels - the content is beautifully developed and you'll find yourself swallowing this book at
an expediential rate!! Complete with witty humor, sexy scenes, fantastic plot, great characters and sub-characters and
a great family besides - this one is not to be missed! Julian - you can bite my neck any time!!!

This author writes a quick shallow love story about vampires. If you want an interesting story, find another author.

I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed this book. Better than the back cover synopsis let on. Worth the reading time.

I love the entire series of these books. Fresh spin on the classic vampire stories. And a little romance never hurts!
