This is a great book if you love dogs, crime fighting, and the deep south all rolled into one! I highly recommend it. And, if you like it, she's written about 5 more sequels that are all equally as great.

I am TOTALLY hooked on this series! It's light, funny, and if you love dogs, you'll love these books!!!

This was the first book I've read by Virginia Lanier. At first I thought the heroine was too hard-core feminist...but I liked her more as the book went on. I loved the multiple plot lines too! Will read more of this series.

I loved this book. It was a great read. Living in south GA, I got a kick out of it. I know people like the characters, and in some of these small towns it is definately who you know!

This is a great series. Takes you into the life of a search and rescue teams. In this book Jo Beth Sidden's violent ex-husband is out on parole, while she is trying to work a high-profile kidnapping that may be to cold to track. As always her secret weapon is to depend on her best friend--a one year old, blind from birth bloodhound--the only creature smart enough to save her life.

As if turning 30 isn't traumatic enough, feisty Jo Beth Sidden of Basla City, Georgia, has invested the $70,000 she inherited from her father into the business of putting 57 bloodhounds through six months of rigorous training. Six of those well-prepared hounds will go to work for law-enforcement masters.
