Book Description:
It seems like another full-moon kind of shift for trauma nurse and part-time death investigator Molly Burke--until a highly regarded lawyer is wheeled in, dead from an apparent suicide. The third dead lawyer that month. The matter is soon forgotten until a fourth suicide comes in. Molly begins to investigate and becomes the target of death threats. If she doesn't find the killer quickly, she could become the next victim. "Eileen Dreyer writes top-notch, page-turning suspense with a perfect twist of wry, quirky humor. A winner every time. "--Tami Hoag

From the Publisher: In a near-epidemic of lawyer suicides, the only person not laughing is Grace Hospital's trauma nurse and death investigator Molly Burke. As she searches for what links the victims beyond their bar association, she steps on some powerful toes and suffers threats to her own corpus that make her remember what you call 20, 000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea.

5 lawyers have commited suicide. Nurse Molly Burke isn't sure they are all suicides. There is a blue pill at several of the scenes that she cannot identify. She sets out to prove her theory. Very good page turner.

Summer is supposed to be the season of homicides, not suicides. Unfortunately some St. Louis lawyers have other ideas. A surprising number are arriving at Grace Hospital's emergency room, dead by their own hands. And while the trend inspires great jokes among the staff, the rising body count is no laughing matter for trauma nurse and death investigator Molly Burke.

As Molly finds out what links the victims beyond their bar association, she learns the hard way that some very powerful people want to keep her quiet, making her more determined and more paranoid. In the meantime, she has to deal with the betrayal of friends and seek out the assistance of enemies - and uncover the truth before the next D.O.A. has her name on its toe tag.
