I read the whole book in one night, it was a taste of things that were brewing when i was a pre-teen and really was niave.
Anne River Siddons can really write a tale,I wish I had her way with words.

pool side reading summer quick and easy
Her first novel. Takes place in Alabama, 1956.
Siddons has a great sense of place.
I enjoy Anne Rivers Siddons' books, and most of them have some type of emotional twist that really hits the reader. This book was not quite that way, but still a good book to read. It is about a young woman's coming of age in the South in the 1950s.
