Father of six-year-old twins boys, Widower Seth Webster is at his wits end and needs a miracle. She shows up in the form of a heaven-sent housekeeper named Mrs. Merkle. Mrs. Miracle, as the boys call her, dishes out words of wisdom and shares advice about taking risks and letting go of the past. She also hooks Seth up with Reba, a beautiful travel agent who has wounds of her own.
This is a busy book. Not only do we get Seth and Reba who both have problems to overcome; but we also read about Seth's in-laws and the problems in their marriage. This is a nice holiday story that reads very fast. It was also a bit of a tearjerker for me. My rating: 4 Stars.
I just finished this book and it left me feel so good and full of hope. It is a lovely book about family and church and love, loss and forgiveness.

Another great book by Macomber. She gave you 3 different characters and their story to follow. A easy read and very enjoyable.

You gotta love angels!! This is a wonderful story of love, forgiveness, family and faith. My favorite Mrs. Merkle quote (each chapter starts with a quote or saying from Mrs. Merkle)is "You have to wonder about humans. They think God is dead and Elvis is alive." The book also includes a few recipes.
After Seth lost his wife his heart never healed. With Christmas coming, twin boys to raise and a hme in chaos he found a new house keeper and a romance with Ruth---great read.

I really liked Mrs. Miracle and the recipes included are pretty good. However, it seemed as though the author got tired of the characters or had a limit on length because all of a sudden, in just a few pages, everyone is forgiven and they are all going to live happily ever after.
I loved this book. It is about how angels are with us to guide us when we are lost.
