Later 1800s historical romance. 2nd in the "girl bachelor" series.
Good, quick read. The conflict is not overwhelming and the charaters get a chance to develop. Hero turned from wicked rake to loving husband even after a decietful beginning. Heroine inherits millions and turns from abused seamstress to sought after heiress and finally devoted wife. Happily ever after ending.
