First a tremendous cyclone shakes Rocky Ridge farmhouse. Then a long drought and a terrible fire invade the little farm in the Ozarks. These are hard times for young Rose Wilder and her parents, Laura and Almonzo. Can the little farm in the promising land of the Big Red Apple ever recover from this series of disasters?
