Book Description:

The Fat Flush® Plan

Kisses cellulite goodbye! Melts fat from hips, waist, and thighs in just two weeks and re-shapes your body while detoxifying your system.

The Fat Flush Plan is a groundbreaking low carb/detox diet and fitness program. Fat Flush is known as the only diet program that gets rid of bloat, supports the liver, cleans up the lymph, and helps to eliminate the appearance of cellulite – for good. An international best-seller with legions of devoted followers, The Fat Flush Plan has been featured on The View, as well as in cover articles in Time, Glamour, Self, and many others. It is based upon essential fats (such as flax seed oil and flax seeds), balanced proteins (including eggs, meat, fish, and moderate soy) plus low-glycemic healthy carbs from fat flushing fruits and vegetables. The Plan also features “cleansing” tonics such as unsweetened cranberry juice and water, the “Long Life Cocktail,” and daily hot water and lemon juice as well as a delicious array of fat burning, water regulating, and insulin controlling herbs and spices (think cayenne, mustard, cilantro, parsley, cinnamon, and cloves).

This book has a lot of helpful information and ideas to help cleanse the body. That said, I have found it more a supplemental book with innovative information, ie: the cranberry juice and lemon water ideas, than a real "followable" diet. It is hard to imagine cooking scrambled eggs in chicken broth for breakfast to avoid the fat we ususally cook it in. I was unable to do the whole Fat Flush Plan because of the unappetizing recipes and cooking methods. I did, however, use flax oil, cranberry juice, lemon water and other helpful ideas with Weight Watchers(on my own), and found great results.

If you follow the plan you will lose weight, but it is a pretty ruthless plan. I did feel better after I satyed on it for a month. But then summer came and so did fried chicken, potatoe salad, and BBQ pork sandwiches.

A very helpful book. I learned a lot and it was very easy to read.

This is a very difficult plan to follow, but it is broken down into Phases and if you do manage to follow it for a few weeks I promise you will feel GREAT! At this point in my life I really use only parts of the plan to supplement my diet (short on willpower these days!) There are some great recipes and a lot of very useful info in this book.
