Welcome to Mitford, a charming North Carolina town where you'll meet Father Tim, the village rector and lifelong bachelor, his maverick dog, and a mountain boy who will touch your heart. You'll even hear a love story that's been kept a secret for over sixty years.

It's easy to feel at home in Mitford, where you'll laugh, cry and come back for more.

This is the first book in the Mitford Years series.

This book was fun and sweet. It really helped pass the driving time. I love that the author does all those great accents herself. I wouldn't even know how to pronounce some of those words!
