I really liked this book. It is for the serious pet owner that wants to do everything for their beloved 4 legged family member or someone that would just like to do better.
I liked it because it made you and your pet a team in health and exercise which makes it even more motivating
Questions for you to determine where you are at, a plan to get started, precautions to take, walking gear for you and your pet,it covers it all!
THey always say you will do better getting in shape if you have someone to go with, why not your devoted partner and friend, your dog.

Very interesting and practical information.
This book is great for dog lovers who want to exercise themselves and their dog safely and comfortably.
Got a canine couch potato? In just a few weeks, man’s best friend can become man’s best exercise buddy. Here’s how!
Like their owners, more than half of American dogs are overweight. Research shows that trim pets live up to two years longer than overweight ones—making for a more healthy, vibrant life for your dog.
In a groundbreaking study, top obesity expert Dr. Robert Kushner found that exercising with your dog not only benefits your furry friend, it also gives you more confidence and motivation to exercise, leading to more weight-loss success. Dr. Kushner and prominent veterinarian Dr. Marty Becker have teamed up to present a simple, comprehensive walking program—beginning with just three 15-minute walks per week—that is as good for you as it is for your dog!
From starting out on the right foot (or paw) to gradually increasing the duration of your walks, Fitness Unleashed! is an indispensible guide to fitness and fun for you and your dog.

a great book to read and helps bring owner and pet together
I read parts of this book and I lost 55lbs (with that and ww) and my dog loves to go out with me before work everyday. On the days I am off he gets really mad. It has made a great between me and the "middle" dog.
