This is one of those books you just cant put down, a tenderly written story of the military and its life during war.

This book is a great sequel to Even Now. I enjoyed reading about two completely different views of the war. I appreciated both sides, and thought Kingsbury's did a great job explaining just difficult it is to look past our different opinions and see the foundation between them may be the same! I thought the book was well written for such a controversial topic.
With all that being said, I want to warn readers.... it might be hard to read this book if you have a loved one overseas. It will pull at your fears.

Great book. Need to read the first one "Even Now" first.

This was a great sequel to Even Now. It was almost too emotional for me to read in large chunks--I had to take a breather now and then! It is a great story and really makes you think about your own patriotism.

The sequel to Even Now. I can truly say I cried more in this book than any I have ever read! Karen Kingsbury writes with so much pathos - it's hard to not be involved in her stories. Highly recommended!
