Basically, the book is about an evangelical Christian apologetic minister who pretends to be a skeptical journalist to see if a man was really raised from the dead 2000 years ago. The arguments were circular and I'll quickly sum it up the basic one: "The Bible said the resurrection happened. Where is the proof? The proof is... in the Bible." Good for a Christian who needs to feel validation, but the "evidence" will be unconvincing to most non-believing adults with decent critical thinking skills. For that, start with Carl Sagan's "The Demon-Haunted World."

An excellent guide to the importance and historical accuracy of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Of the many world religions, only one claims that its founder returned from the grave. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the very cornerstone of Christianity.
But a dead man coming back to live? In our sophisticated age, when myth has given way to science, who can take such a claim seriously? some argue that Jesus never died on the cross. Conflicting accounts make the empty toumb seem suspect.
How credible is the evidence for the resurrection? Focusing his award winning skills as a legal journalist on history's most compelling enigma, Lee Strobel retraces the startling findings that led him from atheism to belief.
