What a wonderful book! I read it in 95 minutes. Couldn't put it down. I loved how the characters weaved in and out of each others lives. Being 8 y/o when my Dad died on 12/31 I remember what a sad and confusing time it was. And how I was shifted from one relative's home to another for 2 weeks. People whispering. No one talking directly to me. Hearing my Uncle tell his daughter while I was playing on her sunporch that my Dad had died. I went back to playing with my doll. How I sat at the head of his coffin just knowing I would catch him breathing. And still not one soul came to me. No comfort, no hug, nothing. Mother craved and received all the attention. I don't want another child to ever go through that horrible experience alone. I really loved this book. Especially the talk Maggie had with Nathan about her going to Heaven. And how Jack handled her death with Nathan.

A wonderful reminder of the brevity of life and how you never know who's life you might touch and make a difference in. No need to wait for
Christmas. It's a wonderful read.

Everyone should read this book.... It was sad but it was one of the best books that i have read in the last 10 years. I read it in one day, only stopping for kleenex......................
i absolutely loved this book! I cried several times through it so hard that i would shake. I have never been so touched by a story before.
Tear-jerking novel based on the #1 single song "The Christmas Shoes," which was then made into a made-for-tv movie. Helps remind you of what's important in life.
I bawled my eyes out! Great story inspired by the song. Inspiring stories, all 3. This is the story of the Love that came down from Heaven on Christmas Day and the never ending hope He brings for tomorrow.
Jennifer M. (WAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! This one really made me cry! This was a very good, heart-wrenching book. I definitely recommend it.
