I don't usually read Mary Higgins Clark because her books seem very predictable. This one is an expception though. I loved it and didn't know till close to the end who the killer was. The characters are well developed and there are more than a few suspects so it makes for a very great read.

I enjoy her mysteries

I read it in one day - a quick suspenseful read. Much better than her last book, Dancing in the Dark. Mary Jane Clark's fan won't be disappointed this time.

The author, who writes and produces for CBS News, skillfully shows Caroline experiencing her baptism by fire as a reporter in Warrenstown. "Lights Out Tonight" has short and crisp chapters, clear and precise prose, an engrossing plot, and lively characters, making it an ideal summer read.
