Book Description:
Charlize Charlie Edwards certainly knows, in theory, what it takes to lead a successful and happy life. She owns a nice house in Silverlake, LAs trendiest neighborhood. She has glamorous and loyal friends who accompany her to the hottest clubs in town. And she works as the personal assistant to Drew Stanton, Hollywoods sexiest movie star. But shes also turning 30, chronically single, and faced with serving as maid of honor at her younger sisters wedding. Charlie finds herself struggling to juggle the chaos of wedding planning (while wondering if shell ever wear the white dress herself), her all-consuming job, and a serious crush on Jordan, a photographer on the set of Drews latest featurea man who might actually return her feelings.

This was a very amusing book from beginning to end. A few laugh at loud parts as well. Very worth the time.

More like a Total Waste of Time. This is the most disappointing book that I read all year. The only thing I liked about it was the advice to her niece at the start of every chapter, which is about one or two sentences. This book was just mindless and the characters were silly, esp her boss. And her parents smoking pot was just plain poor taste.

This is a wonderful book. I laughed out loud...in public even. Definitely want to read more by this author...she is very funny in a totally relatable way. Reminds me of Janet Evanovich's writing. Highly recommend.

This must be the funniest book I've read lately. The author has a wicked sense of humor.

This book amazing. I was laughing out loud constantly. The story flowed fantastically. Great defined characters. The worst part was that it had to end. I would have kept reading even if it was a freakishly long book like one of those harry potter books. I ordered it from BN.com not knowing how long it was. I got it in the mail and was shocked, once I got to the last chapter I was sad it would be over soon.

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!

Funny chick lit. I liked that the character's job was an assistant to a celebrity. It brought some fun and mayhem to the story.

I really loved this book...some parts were laugh-out-loud funny and some of the main character's pieces of advice were really funny (and scarily accurate). A fun piece of chick lit.

This book was very fun to read. I liked that the main character was normal and had a good attitude... She seemed pretty level-headed considering the setting and family relationships. It was like I was reading about someone who I could be friends with. Can't wait for more by this author!!

A total waste of time. This was the first book in a long time I had to put away early.

I LOVED this book. It's funny that this book shows a very "happy go-lightly" side of living on the edges of Hollywood (the main character works for a famous actor I think anyone would love to work for; he often throws money at her to do simple things and never seems to have an ego trip on anyone.) I also read "The Year of Living Famously" by Laura Caldwell and it gives a much different, darker view of Hollywood. Both books were great, but this one was more fun to read.
