Book Description:
FIRST A STRANGER APPEARS
While chasing down the usual cast of miscreants and weirdos Stephanie discovers that a crazed woman is stalking her.

THEN, THE STRANGER REVEALS HER SECRETS
The woman dresses in black, carries a 9mm GLOCK, has a bad attitude and a mysterious connection to dark and dangerous Carlos Manoso... street name, Ranger.

NEXT, SOMEBODY DIES
The action turns deadly serious, and Stephanie goes from hunting skips to hunting a murderer.

SOON, THE CHASE IS ON
Ranger needs Stephanie for more reasons than he can say. And now, the two are working together to find a killer, rescue a missing child, and stop a lunatic from raising the body count. When Stephanie Plum and Ranger get too close for comfort, Vice Cop Joe Morelli (her on-again, off-again boyfriend) steps in.

Will the ticking clock stop at the stroke of twelve, or will a stranger in the wind find a way to stop Stephanie Plum... forever. Filled with Janet Evanovich's trademark action, non-stop adventure, and sharp humor.

I loved every minute of this gem. Lula and Stephanie find that a mystery woman is stalking Stephanie with intent to kill. She claims she is Ranger's wife, and Ranger is mysteriously unreachable. The Hilarity volume rises as the new owners of the town funeral parlor are introduced to Grandma Mazur. I was wary that Janet Evanovich might be running out of material and situations to write about, but she cooked up a goodie in this one!

So glad to be back with Stephanie Plum again. This book is definitely worthy of the franchise and if you want to hang with Stephanie again, this is the way to do it! We learn more about Ranger in the process.

All fluff. A three evening read. Always enjoyable. Everytime I think this will be the last one, Evanovich must be out of ideas for Stephanie. Twelve Sharp was still the same book as the others, yet different enough that I didn't say "Bah!" and put it down.

Her best of the series. Now, if I only could find a man like Ranger...

Twelve Sharp is yet another laugh outloud book by Janet Evanovich. Stephanie Plum (bounty hunter from New Jersey) tries to bring back her cousin Vinnie's bonds while she's looking for Ranger who seems to have disappeared. If you've read the previous 11 books in the series don't miss this one as it has lots of funny episodes with her partner Lula and her wacky family.

The latest in the Plum series. It's getting repetitive now but it still a great rollicking series that I can't wait for the next chapter.

Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter. While chasing down the usual criminals she discovers shes being stalked by a crazy woman. Somebody dies, and Stephanie goes from chasing skips to hunting a murderer. She is joined by Ranger. They have to find a murderer and rescue a missing girl.

HARDCOVER. From Publishers Weekly: "The mixture of slapstick and gunplay that has put Evanovich's series about a sassy, less than competent New Jersey bounty hunter at the top of bestseller lists once again works its magic in Stephanie Plum's latest caper (after 2005's Eleven on Top). Stephanie, who freely admits her failings as a hunter of fugitives, faces a growing work backlog that threatens the continued existence of her job. Her clumsy efforts to clear some cases, along with the help of her outrageous colleague, Lula, result only in their adding another sad sack to the office payroll—a forlorn shoe salesman who's talked off a ledge by Stephanie's offer of a position as file clerk. Stephanie's ambivalence toward the two men in her life becomes harder to maintain when one of them, the mysterious Ranger, is accused of kidnapping his own daughter. Countless over-the-top scenes, including one at a funeral parlor, will delight longtime fans."

I really liked this one. It definitely had an interesting twist to the typical "Bad FTA guy goes after Stephanie.

This is by far my favorite book of the series so far. Finally we get to focus in on the life of Ranger (somewhat) and learn a little about him. Twelve Sharp had all of the action, drama and laughs that keep me reading Janet Evanovich's Plum series. Great read!

Stephanie is back at it. Trouble always seems to find this girl and antics ensue. Santa Claus, toy making elves and a struggling rock band make this one of the funniest of the Plum stories yet!

The Stephanie Plum series is hilarious. Janet Evanovich combines mystery, insanity, romance, action and a dose of family for a great ride every time. I'm not too much into series' but J.E. is on top of her game.
