OH MY OH MY... I originally got this book from the library, HOWEVER, after reading chapter 7, I knew it was going to be a favorite and purchased it. Lisa Kleypas is such a gifted writer. This is my first book of hers, and I can't wait to read more books by her, historical or contemporary.
I wasn't sure I would enjoy reading a book in first person, but I did. I felt everything Liberty felt, anger, frustration, butterflies, pain, tiredness and tears. This story was especially enjoyable, as I could appreciate all that she went through.
If you have not read this story, it's in paperback now, GO GET IT.

She's from the wrong side of the tracks and he's the one man she can't have. Lisa Leypas shines as she tells the story of Liberty Jones who falls under the spell of a billionaire tycoon - a Sugar Daddy as they say. But the relationship goes deeper than people think and Liberty begins to discover secrets about her own family's past.

I have read every one of Lisa Kleypas's books. THis one is the best so far.

This book was okay. Not your typical Kleypas, but I was definitely curious to see how this one would be. Contemporary romance written in first-person perspective. Except I think the romance fell flat. It seemed to me more like a story of a girls life, beginning with adolescence and wrapping up pretty quickly after the main character and her eventual husband get together.

Lisa Kleypas is a surprisingly good writer. I loved Sugar Daddy and the Sequel Blue Eyed Devil. Not only a great romance novel, but a wonderful, heartfelt story.
I loved this book and like the other review I read I also read it in record time. Great book !!!!
I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more of her work.
Deanna T. (Lisa Kleypas usually writes hostorical romance, which for the most part isn't my cup of tea. I do however love this book, her first contemporary romance. It was engaging and real.
