OH MY OH MY... I originally got this book from the library, HOWEVER, after reading chapter 7, I knew it was going to be a favorite and purchased it. Lisa Kleypas is such a gifted writer. This is my first book of hers, and I can't wait to read more books by her, historical or contemporary.
I wasn't sure I would enjoy reading a book in first person, but I did. I felt everything Liberty felt, anger, frustration, butterflies, pain, tiredness and tears. This story was especially enjoyable, as I could appreciate all that she went through.
If you have not read this story, it's in paperback now, GO GET IT.

This was an awesome book. I couldn't believe how quickly I read this! I don't read a lot of romance because you typically get some mushy, sex-ridden book with no plot. This book had just the right amount of romance with lots of content and character building. Loved the closure at the end and of course the very happy ending. Great read and looking forward to Blue-Eyed Devil!
