Desperate for help, he turns to the one local who's up to the job: renowned tribal investigator Charlie Moon.AND A KILLER COMES TO ROOSTCharlie already has his hands full with two cattle ranches to run, ornery Aunt Daisy's wanderings in the spirit world, and his sparring matches with the alluring FBI agent Lila Mae McTeague. Another great book by James Doss.
I'm reading the entire series over again and loving every minute of it!

Charlie Moon takes in his aunt, Daisy Pereka, a Ute tribal elder cum mystic after her trailer explodes. A boat explodes. A plane explodes. Not necessarily all in that order. Drugs, stolen currency, and a little romance are all part of an entertaining story set in Colorado. It is similar to a Tony Hillerman book, but IMHO, even better.
