Different type of story for Ms. McCray-suspense w/steam. Loved it. She's in witness protection and he is her protector but can he keep her safe? Very good book. Lots of suspense and steam.

Love all her books. This book is fast pace from start to finish. If you don't like steamy sex scenes then this book is not for you because it is HOT.

This is the first time I have read this author. The plot was interesting and the charachters were easy to like. I thought the writing was a bit simplistic. Also, romantic-suspense books are my favorite without a doubt but this books sex scences were very crude and almost embarassing to read. Lke the previous reviewer said, i will try another book to see if her writing is consistent with this.
But overall, it's a quick, easy read.

I thought the plot to this book was great and interesting. I thought the sex parts were too long a little too graphic for me but this is the first book I have read from this author so I don't know if she writes all of her novels this way or not.

This book was EXCELLENT!!!! This book grabbed me from the first page...I ended up taking a 3hr bath b/c I started it in the tub and I just could not stop reading it!!LOL I cannot recommend it enough....you won't be sorry. This si the first book from this author and it definately will not be my last!

Ani King is testifying against the Russion Mafia and is in the witness protection program. Her handler (so to speak) is US Marshall Daniel Parker. During the two years before the trial, Ani and Daniel talk every week and develop a relationship. While travelling from Arizona to New York for the trial, the mafia does it's damndest to kill Ani and everyone near her. During this life threatening time, Danial and Ani fall in love.
This book is loaded with action and danger as every time they turn around someone is trying to kill them. What a great adventure. I won't say why, but I really hope that this is the start of a series and not a stand alone book.

The original plot device to start the plot was way past annoying... The rest was pretty good but I found it hard to deal with heroine's stupidity. Very well written otherwise.

If you love suspense, intrigue, and finally good winning over evil, and a little sex thrown into the mix, you will like this book.
Woman comes from witness protection to testify that the russian mofia killed and burnt her parents, falls in love and wins the case and the man!!

This was my first book by this author. I really enjoyed it. I will be looking for more of her books for sure. Was a quick and enjoyable read.
Linda E. (Lots of action, both in and out of the bedroom. I like my law enforcement guys a little more on the alpha side, but hero was attractive and believable. My first book by Cheyenne McCray, won't be the last.
