Book Description:
Lucy Armstrong has come to Savannah to finish the last four days of filming on a romantic action movie called Don't Look Down. What should be an easy shoot is made a lot more difficult by the stunt coordinator (Lucy's ex-husband, Connor Nash), the script supervisor (Lucy's very unhappy sister, Daisy), an inquisitive five-year-old (Lucy's niece, Pepper), the backer (a sinister Irishman named Finnegan), and one strong and silent stunt man (J. T. Wilder, the stuff Lucy's dreams are made of). Then she starts to look beneath the surface and realizes that, unless she finds out what's going on fast, the movie isn't going to be the only thing that's finished in four days.

J. T. Wilder has come to Savannah to make some quick money as a stunt double while on leave from the Army (he's a Green Beret). What should be an easy job is made a lot more difficult by the star he's doubling for (goofball Bryce McKay), the starlet who's intent on seducing him (Althea Bergdorf, not that he's putting up much of a fight), his skirt-chasing best friend (gonzo-pilot Rene LaFavre), an eagle-eyed five-year-old (binocular-toting Pepper Armstrong), and a tough, exasperated director (Lucy Armstrong, the stuff Wilder's dreams are starting to be made of). Then the CIA calls and Wilder realizes that somebody is taking "shooting a movie" much too literally.

Throw in Wonder Woman, High Noon, Pre-Columbian porn, non-stop action, and fast-paced dialogue, and you've got Don't Look Down, romantic adventure at its best.

This was definately my least favorite Jennifer Crusie book. I was very excited when it came out, but kind of let down after reading it. Not that it was bad, I just wanted better. There are a lot of characters and I felt I didn't get to know them as well as characters in previous books. There was more technial info than I wanted also.

I really enjoy reading Crusies books and with teaming up with Mayer, they have written an awesome book that is funny, romantic and just enough action that one cannot wait to find out how it all ends. I cannot wait to read their next book.

Lots of him-thinking-about-her/her-thinking-about-him stuff. They don't even kiss until halfway through the book, but lots of good chemistry and an interesting plot. Was a very happy reader by the end of it.

her newest release. In true Crusie style. Good to the very end. I found myself looking for more as usual.

More storyline than romance but with great fleshed out characters and lots of laugh out loud moments. I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book. It had the romance that I expected from Jennifer Crusie and a great action tale. The story was woven together well. The plot is a bit complicated so you need to pay attention. That said,I couldn't wait to finish the book.

It was a very slow beginning and was a little hard to get into. But the when everything started coming together I found it very interesting and enjoyable.

Lucy is hired to finish directing the last four days of a movie. J.T.Wilder is hired as a military consultant for the movie. The story combines wit, romance and fast action in a story with a surprise ending.

Sizzling high-octane romantic adventure about a straight-talking woman and a straight-shooting man

She is director of dog food commercials who's just been recruited to finish a four-day movie shoot. But as soon as Lucy Armstrong arrives on set, she discovers that the staff is in chaos, the make-up artist is suicidal, and the stunt director just happens to be her ex-husband. That, and the temperamental lead actor has just acquired as an advisor a Green Beret who has the aggravating habit of always being right.

He thought that hiring on as a military consultant for a movie star was a to-die-for deal: easy work, easy money, easier starlets. But his first day on the job, Captain J.T. Wilder ends up babysitting a bumbling comedian, dodging low-flying helicopters, and trying to find out who's taking "shooting a movie" much too literally.

This book was very funny and I loved it. But I liked it so much I bought it twice. :-) All of the Jennifer Crusie books are delightful!!!

Quick read. Very entertaining! It's so much more interesting to read about women who take charge than those who wait to be saved. Looking forward to Crusie and Mayer's next collaboration.
