This is a stand-alone by the author of the Kate Shugak mystery series. More fast-paced and action-driven than the series novels, this one is more thriller, involving a terrorist cell, NASA and the Coast Guard, than mystery. Stabenow sets the scenes, introduces the primary characters and enough of their backstories to get you involved, then sets the action rolling. You'll find it a hard book to put down; it's an edge-of-seat ride, and well worth the trip.
