Book Description:
Egypt is struck by a series of terrible plagues that cripple the Kingdom, and then the ultimate disaster follows. The Nile fails. The waters that nourish and sustain the land dry up. Something catastrophic is taking place in the distant and totally unexplored depths of Africa from where the mighty river springs.

Disappointing installment to Smith's Ancient Egypt series as Taita leads a continent-long trek to find and destroy a source of ultimate evil.

Clare H. (Check out the reviews at Amazon. They are spot on. I actually threw mine out because I could not let anyone expose themselves to it! And I LOVED River God and the Seventh Scroll. I think he must have been trying to get out of a publishing contract.
