Very disappointing read. Almost made me regret having spent a book credit on it. The story line was a little bland. The main character was too whiny. I just couldn't find myself gettting through it fast enough. I'm a quick reader and I found myself not wanting to waste my time on it. I love Lori Handelands previous books, so I don't know if the subject matter is just not appealing to her anymore and she's writing just to write; or if it's me outgrowing her.
Another great story that I read straight through. A mystery to the end!

I love Lori Handeland. All the books in the "moon" series have a common thread but are completely stand alone books. This story about werewolves and shape-shifters was romance, mystery & comedy all in one. I kept thinking I had it figured out but I didn't. Ended w/ apperances from a few of the past characters in the "moon" series. A tad too much "romance" for me, as I like more paranormal & less romance but it was all in all a very good, enjoyable read.
