Book Description:
When businessman Frank Columbo, his wife Mary and their 13-year-old son, Michael, were savagely murdered on their suburban Chicago home, one thought raced through everyone's mind...who would tell Patty? But Patty already knew.

Led into an adult world of drugs and kinky sex parties by Frank DeLuca, a married man twice her age, the fifteen-year-old had become his sexual slave--desperately, blindly devoted to him. when her parents divorced their daughter's shocking secret life, her enraged father threatened to kill them both. But the lovers struck first, leaving a scene of appalling family carnage.

rowing into womanhood in a maximum security prison, Patricia Ann Columbo has finally revealed to author Clark Howard what really happened that dark and fateful night. From their intimate conversations come a chilling, first-hand view of cold-blooded murder--and a twisted love gone horribly wrong.

I have never read one of Mr. Howard's books until now. I have found another true crime author, other than Anne Rule, that I love. he has found a new fan!

Edgar-winning author Howard details one of the strangest, most brutal crimes committed in our time: the killing of businessman Frank Columbo, his wife, and son--by their daughter Patty. Howard traces Patty's life through the streets of suburban Chicago and offers an explanation of why she became a part of such a bizarre and terrible crime.

One of the most bizarre crime books I've ever read. My only problem was too much repetition in the telling of the story .... the book could have been much shorter.

Now as Patricia Ann Columbo has grown into a woman in a maximum security prison, she has finally revealed to this author what really happened the dark and fateful night tghat a chilling cold blooded murder for a twisted love gone wrong was committed. There a 8 pages of pictures. When a father threatens to kill Patty and her love, they strike first. Strange what you think is love and what some will do for it.

Not a bad read but a little too close to home in a chilling reality slap to the face kind of way for me.
