Christine O. (I thought this was amusing, and provided insight into the great barbecue dispute in this area of the country-mustard vs tomato vs vinegar.
this author actually owned and managed an excellent restaurant--it is in kansas city, missouri, and we used to eat there sometimes.
this is a culinary mystery romp!
This book is an ex-library copy and has all the library stickers etc still on it. It is well read but still very readable. I enjoyed the book very much. This is one of the Heaven Lee series ( The Kansas City Restarateur) In this book she is attending a BBQ Contest. And of course a murder occurs. When Heaven becomes a target she knows she will have to solve this crime in a hurry or she could end up one of the victims.
The story is set at the World Series of Barbecuing. Lots of interesting background information about barbecue events. Also contains several mouthwatering recipes.
