An excellent thriller set in Edinburgh during the Festival. I love Rebus and Rankin.
I just think that Ian Rankin is at the top of the entire mystery/detective genre. With his knowledge of procedure, psychology and 'wet and windy' Scotland, the books are a triple treat; I loved it and you will likely feel the same way.
Cheryl R. (This is the sixth entry in the British police procedural series featuring Inspector John Rebus who lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's become one of my favorite modern-day mystery series with an imperfect but likable main character, good mysteries and a great sense of a city I would love to someday visit.
