Dorathy M. (Rebus is not yet fully developed in this book, and Siobhan Clarke isn't on the scene, but it is still a good read.
When respected MP Gregor Jack is caught in a police raid on an Edinburgh brothel and his flamboyant wife Elizabeth suddenly disappears, John Rebus smells a setup.
The John Rebus series by Ian Rankin is one of my favorite detective series, and I eagerly await any new novel in the series.
