Another cute chick lit novel from Crusie... Two sisters who operate a small wedding video business join a has-been actress to make a film in the actress' home town. Naturally, they almost immediately meet handsome available men, and romance (and explicit sex) promptly ensues. Throw in a mother who is protective of her 30-something, womanizing son, a Porn King who may sponsor the film if they spice it up a little, a councilman's daughter who can't wait to get out of town, and, oops, a dead body, and you know you're off for a fun ride.

Filled with laughs both big and small, this is a fun little book about life, love and putting your family first always. While parts were a bit drawn out and mildly confusing, the overall story kept me smiling until the very end.

Very quick and fun read, I'm looking forward to starting Fast Women soon... little bit scandalous, so if you like that kind of thing, this is for you. :)

Another book with the Dempsey family. Always good for comical antics and maybe a con or two.
Hilariously sexy romance about a filmaker and the mayor of a small town in Ohio.
What a great, light summer read...I think Crusie's best book! A romantic comedy/mystery with likeable characters, small town gossip and a bit of political intrigue thrown in for good measure. I pulled my lounge chair into the shade and gobbled this one up like candy.
I bought this book thinking it sounded good.. but, I've never read it..

Too chic-litty for my taste. Not the type of hero and heroine I usually go for.
