Never have I read a book so articulate! If you can guess the solution before the very last chapter, then you must be a genius. And even then, your questions of how it was done aren't answered until the very last paragraph! Absolutely amazing, and I only hope Agatha Christie's other books are this incredible!

Arguably Christie's masterpiece, and certainly her darkest tale, And Then There Were None takes you to Indian Island where 10 strangers have been lured to face the unspeakable crime each has committed and gotten away with....until now. As each of the 10 die one by one, the other realize the net is closing in and there's no way to discover their unknown avenger or escape his or her unerring execution of justice. Brilliantly written, you can feel the atmosphere of suspicion and dread growing with each death and a twist ending that only the most astute will see coming.

You have undoubtedly read several variations of this plot by others - now read the original written by the queen of mystery and suspense herself, Agatha Christie. This is one of her very best!

This was my first foray into the Queen of Crime: Agatha Christie's extensive catalouge. The book is a little slow in the beginning to the point I almost put it down. Now that would have been a dreadful mistake because as soon as the cast of characters get on Indian Island I could not put the book down. Christie paints a vivid portrait that reveals how deadly secrets can be. Absolutely wonderful read and hope you pick it up and enjoy it as much as I did.

One by one, the suspects are dying. Each one was invited to vacation at a beautiful island estate. Each one brings a tainted past. At least one of them is intent on murder and no one knows why. One by one they die, until, at the end, there is an answer.

This interesting twist on the 'locked room' murder is one of Christie's best. Without Miss Marple or Inspector Poirot to guide you, your suspicions are free to move among all the guests as you try to sort through the false clues and red herrings to figure out who is the mastermind and what is the motivations for this tale of bizarre justice and revenge.

Very, very good mystery. A little freaky/morbid...but the plot was awesome as well as the characters. Will be reading more of Christie's books!!

One of her best--- I read it in one sitting because I needed to know how it ended.
