1st book I have read by this author and I loved it. Great story about a girl who wants to love the guy but doesn't know how. Quinn & Audie are great characters. There's a little mystery, suspense, humor and steam. Real quick read.

Excellent chemistry and laugh out loud funny story!

Very, very seductive. Chicago "Martha Stewart" type girl, meets Irish Catholic Detective. Hilarious and full of sass and sizzle.

I would have never read this author, but for seeing her listed here on PBS.

Audie, a young woman with minimal domestic talents, takes over for her mother who is akin to Heloise. Along the way, she is threatened with bodily harm by someone who has a grudge against her.

Enter the yummy police officer and you have a great read to pass the time.

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first time I've read any books from this author. I plan on reading more of her books. There is humor, mystery and romance. Great book!!

This is one of my all time favorite contemporary romances. A real 'keeper' and worth rereading every so often.

I guess the book is ok for the genre, but it seemed to me to be too heavy on the sex and too light on the mystery.

This book had me in tears three chapters before the end, and smiling at the end. I was very drawn into the book, and it was as great read! One of Ms. Donovan's best works!

Who wouldn't want a sexy detective following you around making sure your safe? I sure would if was Stacy Quinn. He's charming, strong and a great cook. Did I mention he cleans?

I'm going to be the odd-man-out and say how tiring this book was. I almost quit reading at page 200. The heroine was so damaged from her dysfunctional family that I don't buy the turn-around at the end. I wanted to scream at Quinn, "Run! Run like the wind! Because this woman will never be anything but emotionally empty." I even started skimming the sex scenes coz I just didn't give a damned about these two people together.

This is my first and my last Susan Donovan novel.

Donovan is amazing--she wrote a sex scene that scorches the page--and Audie and Quinn aren't even touching!

I will be on vacation from April 29th til May 13th. If you are interested in this book, understand it can not be shipped during this time frame.

A cute story about an independent woman being threatened by a stalker. In comes a hunky cop who is assigned to protect her. The rest is predictable, but fun.

Great read. Loved the cop's big Irish family. Great chemistry between the H and h.
