Book Description:
Stephanie Plum is thinking her career as fugitive apprehension agent has run its course. She's been shot at, spat at, cussed at, fire-bombed, mooned, and attacked by dogs. Time for a change, Stephanie thinks. Time to find the kind of job her mother can tell her friends about without making the sign of the cross. So Stephanie Plum quits. Resigns. No looking back. No changing her mind. She wants something safe and normal. As it turns out, jobs that are safe and normal for most people aren't necessarily safe and normal for Stephanie Plum. Trouble follows her, and the kind of trouble she had at the bail bonds office can't compare to the kind of trouble she finds herself facing now. Her past has come back to haunt her. She's stalked by a maniac returned from the grave for the sole purpose of putting her into a burial plot of her own. He's killed before, and he'll kill again if given the chance. Caught between staying far away from the bounty hunter business and staying alive, Stephanie re-examines her life and the possibility that being a bounty hunter is the solution rather than the problem. After disturbingly brief careers at the button factory, Kan Klean Dry Cleaners, and Cluck-in-a-Bucket, Stephanie takes an office position in security, working for Ranger, the sexiest, baddest, bounty hunter and businessman in two continents. It might not be the job she'll keep for the rest of her life, but for now, it gives her the technical access she needs to find her stalker. Tempers and temperatures rise as competition ratchets up between the two men in her life --her off-again, on-again boyfriend, tough Trenton cop, Joe Morelli, and her bad-ass boss, Ranger. Can Stephanie Plum take the heat? Can you?

Classic Stephanie Plum. How she manages to get into so much trouble is simply beyond me! I still enjoy reading of her (mis)adventures!

This is the first book I've read by this author, and LOVED it. If you like humor mixed in with your stories, you'll love it too. I'm now a fan of this author

Another great Stephanie Plum story! Lots of laughs, and lots of Ranger! The ending was a little too neat, but it was still a great read.

Another excellent read. Stephanie gives up her career as a Bond Enforcement Officer and goes to work for Rangeman. Ooo-wee! I want some of that shower gel! :-)

Just as good as # 1-10...all the usual stuff, but the characters are as funny as ever. Great beach books -- when I'm reading them, I flash back to being a Jersey girl reading on the beach, big hair, three coats of mascara, and a cousin named Vinnie...

Another great book from Evanovich, it almost felt a little slow at times - almost as if there was more concentration on relationships - but yet it still had me laughing and in suspense! On to #12!!!

I love this series by Janet Evanovich. Her books make me laugh out loud and this one is just as good as the first 10 in the series.

There is nothing better than reading a Stephanie Plum novel. I can't sit outside and read them because I really do laugh out loud.

Classic Plum! A great quick read full of the typical humor, crazy situations and of course all the tension with Stephanie and her men. I don't think Evanovich has lost any steam in writing this series - although I can't say it is an original story, it is still so much fun to read that it doesn't really matter!

I love this series, so do my adult daughter. Stephanie Plum appears so inept and yet so courageous, with some help she always comes out on top.

In each of the Stephanie Plum novels, I laugh all the way to the end, but there is also suspense and the element of whodunit, and of course there is always Lula, the best sidekick in all of the mystery genre! Should Stephanie stay in her job as a bounty hunter? Only #11 in this series can tell.

Stephanie Plum is thinking her career as a fugitive apprehension agent has run its course...she wants something safe & normal...so she quits. If you've read the Plum series, you'll know that she'll still wind up in dangerous situations...

Great book as are all of them in this series!
