If you think all Red Hat Club members are sweet old ladies with a penchant for purple frocks and crimson chapeaus, think again. Smith's bunch of Buckhead babes--Georgia, Diane, Linda, SuSu, and Teeny--may all be women of a "certain age," but that doesn't mean they have to act like it. funny, touching, about friends.

2nd in series: The girls Georgia, SuSu, Teeny, Linda and Diane are back. This time, they have to kidnap their old friend Pru. Pru's in over her head with drugs and drug-dealers in Las Vegas, so off the Red Hatters go. The kidnapping is successful, Pru goes through rehab, SuSu is going to Emory Law School, Diane is facing cancer. The the friends are always there for each other. Teeny's suprise this time is a 30 day cruise along with any plastic surgery they want done.

This book had it all: Dream careers, addiction, weddings, Elton John and yet I was still bored. I think there was too much picked ino one story to make it believable.
You'll laugh and cry at the escapades of 6 friends from high school into their 40's.
This book has some worn on the cover but has been taped. It is a great read. Entertaining and makes us all laugh a LOT!! Great story about 4 women who form a club and meet together to go on a CRUISE of a Lifetime. You will love the story. Great read!!
Great book, just like the first one. ( Red Hat Club)
Lynda C. (Smith's novels tend to promise more than they deliver -- or maybe I just can't get excited about a "women's friendship" novel in which all problems are solved by unlikely coincidence and lavish applications of cash. The separate characters never really gel for me, and their problems are never handled at anything but the very shallowest level.
