Book Description:
Elise Hanover feels the pull of the moon - even in its dark phase. She is a werewolf who feels nothing but disgust for the bloodlust and violent tendencies inside her. Nic Franklin is the man she met and fell in love with in college, and the man whose touch first awakened her beast. When she realized that her lust for him inspired the wolf inside her, she ran as far and as fast as she could. To defeat her furry side, she has spent the last five years in a secret location in Montana, trying to find a cure for lycanthropy. Just as she feels she's at the edge of a breakthrough, her research is interrupted. Nic is now an FBI agent - and he's standing in her lab. Minutes after they leave the building, it explodes, destroying all of Elise's research and the serum she needs to fight her bloodlust. Together, Nic and Elise must race to find a cure for before the next full moon rises. Dark Moon is full of dry wit, steamy chemistry, and truly scary villains.

In "Dark Moon" Dr. Elise Hanover spends all her time alone in a research facility trying to find a cure that would eradicate lycantrophy. Test subjects, volunteers from prison, are housed in the basement behind bars. Her most notorious convict is Billy Bailey, a vicious murderer. Along comes FBI agent Nic Franklin, an old boyfriend of Elise's. As they step outside to see why the caged wolves are howling the facility blows up. The adventure starts...
This book is fast paced, fun to read, and has a romantic slant. With Elise and Nic on the run, the chase is on away from the group who wants to stop the research and away from Bill Bailey who managed to escape and has revenge on his mind. The chase is also on for Nic who is determined to win Elise back.

Great continuation of this werewolf series. Dark Moon focuses on Elise Hanover the scientist briefly mentioned in the two previous books. The book explores her character and her relationship with Edward. Of course, the doom of werewolf apocalypse craziness is there too. A few steamy scenes but not quite as Skinamax as the previous books.

Great book! Elise came across as an ice princess in the previous book, but here she's funny as hell and she holds her own alongside crazy Jessie and hard-core Leigh. Great ending, too.

This is the second book I have read by this author. I am really enjoying the series, and am looking forward to reading more. I read this book in less than a day. Just couldn't put it down.

Because the first time its deadly power pulsed through her veins was the last time she saw the love of her life Until now...
