WATCH YOUR BACK. TRUST NO ONE.
Nobody in this perfect seaside resort town ever imagined that the body of a missing heiress might be found deep in a tunnel beneath her family's crumbling Newport estate. Too many reporters are closer than they realize to the truth behind a chilling secret...
AND WHEN A KILLER CLOSES IN...

I liked the way this book had short chapters and went between different characters throughout the book. The author kept my interest and made it fun to read. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I did.

Great book. It's about a news intern that is actually older than most and is struggling to keep up with her younger, faster rivals. Great mystery with heart.

This book was wonderful! It's another mystery from Mary Jane Clark centering on the KEY Network News employees, this time a new intern vying for a coveted KEY News position. When other interns begin dying when covering a story, things take a turn for the worse.
A great, fast-paced read that will keep you guessing the killer's identity until the very end.

One hundred thirty-two chapters, plus a prologue and an epilogue. 326 reading pages. Just so you won't have to get out your calculator, that is an average of 2.39705882 pages per chapter. Which is EXACTLY how this book reads. Short, choppy, disconnected, rambling. So my review on this Mary Jane Clark book is no better than the review on the "Dancing in the Dark" book ~ which was "Trying to read this book was just like trying to watch TV when the remote control is in some guy's hand..." Are all of her books like this? Is this just her writing style? Does anyone really like it? It may just be me.
