The book is about a mother who is suspected of "suffering" from Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. Tanya Reid, a nurse, was charged with murdering her infant daughter Morgan and authorities were afraid her son Michael would be next. 8 pages of photos.

As long as Tanya was happy, everyone was safe. Behind the facade, Tanya was a very insecure person who needed to be the center of someone's attention. All the time. If not her husband or her family it would be someone in the medical profession. And she made sure that happened.

This is my first Gregg Olsen book, but definitely not my last. Well-written true crime account of a mother who has Manchausen Syndrome by Proxy, something I had not heard too much about. She was a bored homemaker who used her children to get attention from those around her by making them sick by deceptive means.

The true story of a woman who craved attention to the point where she'd kill her own children to get it. A shocking, hard-to-beieve tale, but true!
